Do I have to be a member of United Church of Christ to use your services?

No. The communities of UCC Homes welcome people of all faiths and life experiences.

Do I pay an entrance fee to move to a community of UCC Homes?

No. UCC Homes does not require entrance fees.  Fees are based on a monthly or daily basis.  Each individual person maintains control of their own finances, with no buy in fee or transfer of personal assets required.

Do I pay monthly maintenance fee to live in a rented apartment or cottage?

No. UCC Homes does not charge a maintenance fee to live in a rented apartment or cottage.

Do the communities of UCC Homes use agency staff?

No. To ensure professional and consistent employees providing quality and compassionate care, UCC Homes does not utilize agency staffing.

Do the communities of UCC Homes accept Medicaid?

Yes. UCC Homes is Medicaid-approved for Skilled Nursing Services.  Personal Care and Independent Living services are not eligible for state funding in the state of Pennsylvania.

Do the communities of UCC Homes have specific visiting hours?

No. The communities of UCC Homes do not have specific vising hours. Residents may have visits anytime of the day or evening.

Can I bring personal items from home?

Yes. The communities of UCC Homes promote a home-like experience, where one can engage in lifelong routines to the greatest extent possible, surrounded by your favorite items.

Do I have to fill out separate admission applications if I want to apply to more than one community of UCC Homes?

No. You can fill out one application form and select the community locations of your preference on page 2 of the form.
