Ephrata
Manor is a retirement community located in Ephrata, (Lancaster County),
Pennsylvania, and sponsored by United Church of Christ Homes. As a caring,
non-profit organization, we are devoted to enriching the lives of those we
serve.
United Church of Christ Homes has provided health care and education in its service area since 1965. Our values of compassion, justice, hospitality and integrity guide all who work in the name of United Church of Christ Homes.
Ephrata Manor
is designed for older adults. You select
the living arrangement that suits your individual needs. Each arrangement includes services that
enhance personal dignity and independence.
Ephrata Manor features one and
two-bedroom unfurnished private apartments with full kitchens.

Building maintenance services are furnished.
Optional services let you enjoy freedom from routine tasks such as laundry, housekeeping chores and cooking. Meals are served seven days a week in the dining room. Emergency nursing care is also available.
Personal Care
For seniors who need assistance in
everyday functions, partially furnished private rooms are available. Services include housekeeping, linens,
medication assistance, and meals. The
personal care unit is licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department
of Welfare.
HEALTH CENTER (Nursing Care)
The health center features private and semi-private rooms for persons in need of nursing care. The health center is licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Health certified for Medicare and Medicaid and staffed by nurses and other health care workers who provide 24-hour care.

COMMUNITY LIVING IN EPHRATA
Ephrata Manor is
just minutes away from the hub of community life in Ephrata. Each resident can
easily be part of the active seniors programs of this small town, while
enjoying the farmland views surrounding our facility.
Transportation is
available to nearby banking facilities and shopping areas. Churches of all
denominations provide services and programs.
Unique to Ephrata is a very active seniors organization. This group provides transportation to seniors within the community and sponsors dances, bowling, craft classes, card games and many other activities.
For cultural events, Ephrata boasts of The Cloister, an 18th century American monastic community, where tours and well known religious musical events are presented every summer. A renovated factory building, called The Artworks, houses artists and craftsmen who can be seen creating and selling their wares. The largest street fair in Pennsylvania takes place in downtown Ephrata.
For convenience of urban life, the city of Lancaster is just 20 minutes away. There you'll find an airport and railroad or bus service to Harrisburg, Philadelphia, or New York, should you wish to host loved ones from far away.
